Toraighyrov University Participated in Training Seminar on Recruitment and Adaptation of International Applicants
Employees of the Center for International Cooperation of Toraighyrov University took part in a training seminar focused on the recruitment, admission, and adaptation of international applicants.
The seminar was organized with the support of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event aimed to enhance the professional competencies of university staff in the field of higher education internationalization and to introduce participants to the new national educational platform, Study in Kazakhstan.
As part of the seminar program, Zh.U. Yesinbayeva, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education, delivered a welcoming address and presented a report on “Accessibility in Higher Education.” Participants were also introduced to the Study in Kazakhstan project by A.S. Madibekov, Director of the National Center for Higher Education Development of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Representatives of the Internationalization and Recruitment Departments of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University shared practical experience in the field of internationalization and working with international students.
During the seminar, participants were granted access to the Study in Kazakhstan platform, a unified information resource that provides comprehensive data on all universities in the country. The platform includes an open section for prospective students and a closed functional module for university staff. It enables international applicants to submit applications to Kazakhstani universities after ознакомление with the full range of educational programs available.
Participation in the seminar marked an important step in strengthening international cooperation and enhancing the global competitiveness of Toraighyrov University in the international educational landscape.
