Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları)
Türkiye Bursları is a government-funded higher education scholarship program run by the Republic of Türkiye for international students.
It is designed to give equal educational opportunities to successful students from around the world. Turkey has offered scholarships to international students for many years, and in 2012 these programs were officially unified under the name Türkiye Scholarships.
The program is coordinated by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and works together with national institutions such as higher education and migration authorities.

Research Scholarship Program (3-12 months)
The Research Scholarship Program is a program designed to encourage international researchers and academicians to cooperate with Turkish academicians in the most prestigious universities of Türkiye.
PhD holders or PhD candidates at the dissertation stage may also apply to this program.
The Research Scholarship Program only covers monthly stipend.
Monthly Stipend: 25.000 TL
Applications for the Research Scholarship Program are open throughout the year. Assessment and admissions are made in four different periods.
KATİP (8 months)
Turkish Communication Program for Public Officials and Academics
The KATİP program is a program designed for foreign public officials, diplomats, academics and researchers who wish to learn Turkish and get to know Türkiye better.
The program covers monthly stipend, accommodation and round trip airfare tickets.
Monthly Stipend: 20.000 TL
ITEC Programme (India)
Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) is a Government of India program launched in 1964 to support partner countries through training and development cooperation.
What it offers:
- Professional training courses in India (civil and defense fields)
- Expert missions, study tours, and consultancy projects
- Equipment support and disaster relief assistance
ITEC Training benefits:
- Free tuition and accommodation
- Airfare covered by the Government of India
- Monthly living stipend
- Book allowance and study tours
Basic eligibility:
- Age 25–45
- Good working knowledge of English
- Good health
- At least 5 years of work experience
Kazakhstan & ITEC: Kazakhstan has participated since 1992, with about 1,355 scholars trained under the program.
DAAD Scholarships
DAAD stands for the German Academic Exchange Service (in German: Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst). It is the world’s largest organisation for academic exchange and scholarship funding for students, researchers, and academics around the globe.
Here’s what DAAD does:
- It provides scholarships and grants for study, research, internships, and teaching in Germany or abroad.
