Toraighyrov University Explores New Opportunities for Cooperation in AI and Innovation with Rutgers University Expert DJ Nag
Toraighyrov University hosted an official meeting between the university leadership and international expert Dipanjan Nag, President of InnovAito LLC and Professor at Rutgers University (USA).
During the meeting, the university’s academic programs, research initiatives, and innovation projects were presented to the guest. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital technologies, startup development, and joint research.
Professor DJ Nag’s international expertise is of particular interest to undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, and young researchers interested in creating and developing their own technology projects. His professional portfolio includes involvement in the creation of more than 80 startups, as well as many years of experience working with university innovation ecosystems in the United States.
Professor Nag has been teaching intellectual property strategy and negotiation at Rutgers University for more than 15 years. He has also gained academic experience at universities in Japan, Bulgaria, and Portugal. This expertise opens up opportunities for joint lectures, expert sessions, consultations, and educational activities for TOU students and faculty members.
As part of his visit, Professor DJ Nag toured the AI Laboratory at Toraighyrov University, where he was introduced to projects in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and innovative technologies. During his visit to Tomorrow School, the guest also learned about the university-based School of Artificial Intelligence and its peer-to-peer learning model.
In addition, Professor Nag visited the laboratories of the Faculties of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering, where he became acquainted with the university’s research facilities and scientific infrastructure.
Looking ahead, the parties are considering cooperation in several areas, including artificial intelligence and digital technologies, joint research, technology entrepreneurship and startups, intellectual property, expert knowledge exchange, and educational initiatives.
These areas of cooperation will provide a foundation for further international collaboration and the development of practice-oriented innovation projects at Toraighyrov University.
